When MTV needed a professional mixtape DJ in Orlando to entertain pop icons *NSYNC and a group of lucky fans, they called in DJ Carl BF Williams, a trusted name in high-energy event entertainment and music curation.

As part of MTV’s TRL (Total Request Live) “Secret Santa” holiday special, DJ Carl was tapped to create a dynamic hip-hop and Top 40 playlist for the December 27th segment, filmed at the upscale Villas of Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida. The event was hosted by Hilarie Burton and Carson Daly, and produced by Viacom Event Productions under the direction of Craig Jenest.

MTV Contest Winner Meets *NSYNC in Orlando

The special moment centered around Cathy, the grand prize winner of an MTV online fan contest, who traveled from Rhode Island to Orlando with four of her closest friends. Their once-in-a-lifetime experience included personal time with Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Lance Bass.
