MTV needed a professional mixtape DJ to entertain NSYNC and their special guests. The primary winner, Cathy, won an opportunity to enter an online contest. Cathy and her four friends from Rhode Island met the ‘N Sync boys at the Villas of Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida.

Orlando DJ Carl BF Williams curated the music for the MTV show TRL (Total Request Live)® on Dec 27th Secret Santa segment, featuring Hilarie Burton and Carson Daly.
Music Television, *NSYNC, and the Viacom Event Productions team headed by Production Manager Craig Jenest hired American DJ Carl to curate a hip-hop and top 40 music playlist as the young ladies interacted with Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Lance Bass.
NSYNC, their management team, Weg Music, crew, and DJ Carl spent 5+ hours opening gifts, hanging out, eating great food, having fun with Santa, and listening to a high-energy music playlist.
