It was a beautiful day for Raechele + Justin “Jets” as they celebrated the first-ever wedding at The Alfond Inn at Rollins College in Winter Park. The day was historic in numerous ways as the groomsmen wore kilts, but also wore underwear too [When one wears a kilt, one does not wear underwear – LOL].

Rae wore a fancy cocktail dress to start the day, but as the day progressed, she had to switch to a formal gown for the ceremony, then back to her party cocktail dress because that is what she wanted; a PARTAY!
Jane McLean, Social Catering Director at The Alfond Inn and Susie Weiss of Wonderful Weddings [READ LETTER] put on an event that was truly magnificent. Charity de Meer from New York City provided the images. Flourish [Richard + Brian] decorated the ballroom to match the spectacular cake by Kathy Waits and her team that had everyone taking pictures of it.
Luckily for music DJ expert, DJ Carl©, he and Rae became Facebook friends several years before her wedding, so it was very easy for her to select him as the reception entertainment. Rae hired Shannon Caine for the ceremony and cocktail hours. Amanda Harvey oversaw the make-up and hairstyling. Rae and Justin also provided their guests with a Bagpiper musical experience – UNIQUE!
The beautiful healthcare executive wanted an event that wouldn’t be cluttered with typical wedding traditions and an experience filled with great up-beat music that people from all walks of life could dance to. Some of the artists that she wanted to hear were: Flo Rida, Zac Brown Band, Rihanna, LMFAO, Donna Summer, Michael Jackson and, the Black Eyed Peas. DJ music expert, DJ Carl© curated a playlist that filled the dance floor the entire night that included Rae’s musical choices and music that energized her family and friends; many from different parts of the world.
